Some Upcoming Events

Thursday, January 5, 2010

Welcome to the New Year!  It's been pretty mild here in NorthEastern PA so I'm a happy camper!

Here's an update of where I'll be in 2012.  Just as an aside, this information is always available at my main web site www.mosshollowpottery.com under the "Shows" button.

This weekend (Jan 7 & 8) is the Baltimore Bead Sociry Show in Cooksville, MD.  This is always a fun show so drop by if you're in the area.

January 21 & 22 I'll be in Phoenix, AZ at the TNNA shows (The National NeedleArts Association)..  This will be my first tijme at this event and I'm so excitied!  I just love textiles and can't wait to see all that's new for 2010.  Look for me at The BeadSmith.

The next weekend, January 28 -30, I'll be a the the CHA (Craft & Hobby Associate) Winter show in Anahiem, CA.  I'm teaching a kumihimo workshop on Monday the 30th and spaces are filling rapidly.  If you're in the area and are interested in this workshop you'll want to go to the CHA website right away to sign up.

My first 2010 appearance on Jewel School (go to jtv.com to find the station in your market) will be on Sunday and Monday February 12 & 13.  This is a good way to hear all about what yu can make with kumihimo braids so be sure to tune in.

Welcome to Anne Dilker and Moss Hollow Pottery

OK, so Moss Hollow Pottery is a wierd name for a business that's concentrated in beads, jewelry design and kumihimo braids.  What can I say?  I started out as potter, then made porcelain beads and pendants and kumihimo just happened to take over the entrie business.  It's a good problem to have but it does make it hard to justify the name.  Eventually I'll back to making beads and pendants.
